Facilities
We provide great facilities for Christian retreats in a beautiful location next to Murrells Inlet and one block from the Atlantic Ocean.
Our facilities include 11 dorms, a large outdoor pool, the Sea Shack snack bar, the Bagnel Youth Building meeting hall, and the chapel complex that includes a large and two small auditoriums. Outdoor areas include football, soccer, frisbee, sand-court volleyball, basketball courts, a large field for group games and activities, and a fire pit. We strive to provide a clean, safe, friendly, and useful environment for our guests to have a spiritual retreat.
DORMS
Every dorm comes with sleeping bunk rooms, a kitchen and dining room and a group meeting space.
RECREATION
Whether it is group games, playing with friends, or just one, our recreation facilities provide opportunities for lots of fun.
POOL
Our outdoor pool is spacious and only for those staying on campus. It is open (weather permitting) April to October.
SEA SHACK
This is our on campus snack bar serving small bites and many beverage options during the summer months.
HOUSE RENTALS
On-campus houses that are available to rent for your cooks, speakers, musicians, etc.
About Us
Garden City Chapel and Retreat is rich in history. Throughout the years, God has continued to bless the ministries that have taken place here. So much of what happens here today is because of the godly legacy left behind by other important individuals who gave their time and resources to the ministry of Garden City Chapel.
